Clann House Residential Home
Situated on the outskirts of the quiet village of Lanivet, Cornwall, close to Bodmin Moor and also the busy seaside town of Newquay.
Clann House offers long term residential care, short or longer respite breaks, day care and rehabilitation all to a high standard, within a warm and caring atmosphere.
The home specialises in the care of older people with dementia related needs and benefits from an outstanding, safe dementia environment.
Most of the 33 bedrooms at Clann House are single en-suite, all of which may be personalised.
Clann House offers a choice of lounges and dining areas, a fully equipped activities room. The beautifully presented gardens and enclosed courtyard area at Clann House offer a safe environment, with easy access for outdoor activities.
The home's Activity Staff arrange a varied social calendar of meaningful, appropriate activities and entertainment. Visits are made to the local donkey sanctuary and places of interest especially from their past. Outside entertainers provide music and panotime at the home.
Residents are encouraged to participate in meaningful daily living tasks such as making sandwiches, folding linen, laying tables for lunch etc which helps them to feel part of the home and involved in it's running.
